Today, we will highlight some of the key factors that make this rack an industry best.

Electrical Grounding

The rack comes equipped with four 1/4-20 x 0.5” grounding studs on the inside of the rails. This allows you to ground your equipment directly to the stud or to implement additional bus bars. Serrated tooth washers are also included to allow the frame to be grounded during the assembly process.

Gangable

Ganging holes on both sides of the rack make it easy to gang and secure multiple racks together. Cable pass through holes on the sides of the rack allow easy cabling from one rack to the next

Durability

The rigorous design of this rack features a welded L-bracket base that allows it to hold up to 800 pounds of rack mountable equipment including servers, networking gear, battery backups, switches, and much more. To maintain weight capacity, the rack must be bolted or secured to the floor. Also, the heaviest equipment should be installed at the lowest points on the rack so that the entire structure maintains a safe and practical center of gravity for keeping the rack balanced.

Open Top Design

The 2-Post relay rack design has a completely open top, allowing for large trunk cabling and making the rack compatible with most ladder racks and accessories.

Data centers need to be fully functioning in order to keep up with modern business demands. Implementing a properly grounded infrastructure helps achieve these uptime goals so that you not only save time by avoiding issues, but also by saving on the cost of replacement if an electrical issue were to ever occur.
