The 6125XLG is designed for data center convergence with full support for IEEE Data Center Bridging (DCB) for lossless Ethernet, iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocols. With support for IETF industry standard TRILL (Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links), the HP 6125XLG delivers loop free large Layer 2 networks with multi-path support. With HP's Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF) multiple switches can be virtualized and managed as a single entity with HP's Intelligent Management Center (IMC).
